Within the Project Department of AGL, the Junior Project Officer will be actively involved in the development phase of an industrial project (O&G, Mining, Power and Infrastructure). He/she will be participating in finding solutions to convey project cargo (including abnormal loads) across Africa.
The Junior Project Officer will report to the Africa Project Director and work closely with the Africa Power Director and the Africa Industrial/Infrastructure Director.

You will be responsible for :
• Assist to prepare road surveys and logistics studies offers for internal (affiliates of the Group) and external customers.
• Prepare the road itinerary (of the survey team) for upcoming logistics studies to be conducted in countries.
• Ensure that the road survey application and tools are functional. Report any bugs and errors.
• Assist in conducting road survey / field studies training and maintain a monthly activity report
• Assist in collating road surveys, field studies, Logistics Infrastructure and Early Works (LIEW) studies or any other Early Work studies deemed required for a project.
• Prepare and maintain a register listing all company assets for the handling and transportation of abnormal loads (Heavy Lift Out Of Gauge – HLOOG).
• Actively support and assist Project Department personnel and provide any additional support required by Project Director.
