MISSIONS

We are now looking for a Head of Vertical Market and Global Account Manager for the Healthcare client base, reporting into the Head of Commercial of AGL at our Paris HQ.
You will play a vital role in internal and external sales developments for the designated Vertical, Healthcare, and to create and embed the vertical strategies – including growth ambition and underlying solution requirements.
You will be responsible for the gathering of customer insights within the verticals, and to develop vertical value propositions based on customer needs. In your capacity of Global Account Manager, you will also be directly in charge of a customer portfolio and a pool of prospect customers to develop.

You day to day missions will include:

Strategy & Direction Setting (Vision Leadership)
o Define, set, and embed your vertical strategy with the commercial teams on the ground (where to win / how to win)
o Demonstrate and propagate AGL industry expertise internally (e.g., case studies, regular sales trips and calls with countries) and externally (e.g., conferences, trade shows)
o Position AGL as the leading company within selected Vertical in Africa

Customer Insights and Solutions (Value Propositions)
o Systematic gathering of vertical intelligence/insights (e.g.: studies, research document, competition analysis). A team will be at your support at HQ for this task
o Systematic capture of identified vertical specific needs/insights from frontline and client engagements, building on segment insights
o Develop Vertical Value Propositions and define packages / integrated solution offerings in collaboration with designated functional teams and relevant Product Owners

Business Development and Growth (Pursuit Sponsorship)
o Support Sales Team(s) on Key Targets/Prospects with regular visits to Markets
o Act as Global Account Manager on a selected number of key clients and targets
o Act as Customer advisor where relevant: expand client SoW through leverage of senior level engagement
o Act as Growth Champion – always driving for expansion and challenging the organizational status quo or inertia
o Building effective vertical communities within AGL

 

Profil

We are looking for someone who possesses:

o Expertise in understanding market trends, business model and needs of specific industry vertical customers and their supply chain operations
o 10+ years of experience with a Logistics Provider/Freight Forwarder in a senior commercial role; at HQ or Regional HQ
o Former experience of the Africa logistics market is a bonus
o Highly adept at orchestrating logistics solutions for specific industry vertical customers
o Ability in strategizing and delivering vertical value proposition
o Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and customer-centric mindset
o Excellent communication skill with high proficiency in written and spoken English and French
